Care & Ownership

Wash on the top rack of the dishwasher, or by hand with mild detergent and a soft sponge. Avoid hard or abrasive cleaning tools. Change flower water regularly and clean the vase between arrangements; rinse and dry before storing. Do not put in an oven or microwave.

Maker / Heritage

Cuban-born designer Beatriz Ball began working with metal artisans outside Mexico City in 1991. Her signature metalware is still made one piece at a time in the brand’s own foundry in Mexico: sand casting gives the forms their character, and successive hand-polishing stages bring out the alloy’s silvery luster. More than twelve pairs of hands take part in the making. The appeal is that combination of expressive shape and useful purpose, with the warmth of handwork and none of silver’s routine tarnish polishing.
