The small Amelia pedestal gives cupcakes, fruit or a few savory bites a raised white serving surface. Its softly scalloped melamine form has a 6.75-inch top, making it useful for a small arrangement rather than a full-sized cake. The compact rise can join lower bowls and platters at indoor or outdoor meals.
“I would use this for a few well-chosen pieces, not a miniature version of a crowded buffet. A small pedestal has a lovely intimacy when the serving feels deliberate and the guests can reach it comfortably.”

Care & Ownership
Wash on the top rack of the dishwasher, or by hand with mild detergent and a soft sponge. Presoak dried food in warm water so it lifts without hard scrubbing; avoid abrasive pads and cleaners. Do not use in an oven or microwave. Dry before stacking, and place pieces gently together to protect the modeled rims.
Maker / Heritage
Cuban-born designer Beatriz Ball began working with metal artisans outside Mexico City in 1991. Her signature metalware is still made one piece at a time in the brand’s own foundry in Mexico: sand casting gives the forms their character, and successive hand-polishing stages bring out the alloy’s silvery luster. More than twelve pairs of hands take part in the making. The appeal is that combination of expressive shape and useful purpose, with the warmth of handwork and none of silver’s routine tarnish polishing.
The Vida collection carries that attention to serving shapes into melamine, with sculptural rims and generous forms made for relaxed meals indoors and out.
